A two-day sanctions forum is underway in Kyiv to assess the impact of sanctions on Russia and discuss further steps to strengthen restrictions. Representatives of Ukraine, Belgium, the United Kingdom, Denmark, Estonia, Ireland, Iceland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Germany, Norway, Poland, Romania, the United States, Czechia, Finland, France, Sweden, Japan, and the European Union are taking part.

In Riga, Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Kyrylo Budanov met with President of Latvia Edgars Rinkēvičs, Prime Minister Andris Kulbergs, and Minister of Defense Raivis Melnis.

In Oslo, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy and First Lady Olena Zelenska took part in the farewell ceremony for His Majesty King Harald V of Norway, who passed away on August 28.
