The leaders coordinated positions on the diplomatic track regarding Russia’s war against Ukraine in order to reinvigorate substantive diplomacy.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy accepted the letters of credence from the newly appointed non-resident ambassadors of foreign states: Jorge Ricardo Silen Santacoloma of Panama, Navaan-Yundengiin Oyundari of Mongolia, and Gloria Lissette Nalvarte Simoni de Isasi of Peru.

The leaders discussed bilateral relations between Ukraine and Serbia. The Presidents share the view that relations should be strong and they have potential for further development.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a Staff meeting, during which the available intelligence data on Russia’s planning of offensive operations in the Chernihiv-Kyiv direction was analyzed in detail.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy held an online meeting of the International Advisory Group on Investment Attraction and Economic Development of Ukraine, during which participants discussed the comprehensive economic transformation strategy for Ukraine, “Economy of the Future.”

“We are bringing them home. We have both the opportunity and the moral duty to rebury them here in Ukraine, at home. A process has now begun regarding Colonel Andriy Melnyk and his wife Sofia – iconic Ukrainians of the twentieth century who are deeply respected,” Volodymyr Zelenskyy noted.

The President thanked Ivan Marchuk for everything he has done for Ukraine, for the works that inspire Ukrainians and reveal the uniqueness of our country to the world, and congratulated him on his anniversary, which the artist marked on May 12.

“We do not forget our people – those who resisted and continue to resist in Crimea, those whom the Russians have seized and are holding captive. All Crimean prisoners held by Russia must be released from captivity. We are working on every name, every fate. We will leave no one to the enemy,” the Head of State stressed.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy had a phone call with President of the European Council António Costa.

On the Day of Remembrance of the Victims of Political Repression, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy and First Lady Olena Zelenska honored those killed at the Bykivnia Graves National Historical Memorial Preserve.
