At the command post of the 20th Army Corps, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with service members carrying out tasks to liberate the temporarily occupied territory of the Dnipro region.

“We discussed logistics in detail – all types of logistics – including the supply of our positions, as well as issues such as road repairs across the entire frontline area. The Dnipro region, in particular, needs to do more in this regard; the quality of roads directly affects the speed of evacuation of wounded warriors above all,” the President emphasized.

The Head of State received a briefing from the unit commander, Oleksandr Shaptala, on the operational situation within the brigade’s area of responsibility, which is defending Ukraine on the Oleksandrivka axis. Volodymyr Zelenskyy discussed with battalion commanders the moral and psychological training for warriors and its integration into combat training, aiming to achieve better results.

At the command post of the 31st Separate Mechanized Brigade named after General-Khorunzhyi Leonid Stupnytskyi, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, together with Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi, met with warriors of the unit. The 31st Separate Mechanized Brigade is conducting defensive operations in the Oleksandrivskyi sector, at the junction of the Donetsk, Dnipro, and Zaporizhzhia regions.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy took part in a meeting on the implementation of regional resilience plans as part of preparations for winter.

The leaders discussed the implementation of the steps agreed during the President of Ukraine’s visit to Azerbaijan at the end of April.

The Head of State stressed that the infantry is the bedrock of the Ukrainian army. According to Volodymyr Zelenskyy, although drones and those who operate them now play a major role on the front line in striking the enemy, it is the Ukrainian infantry personnel who hold our frontline positions.

In Manama, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with the King of the Kingdom of Bahrain, His Majesty Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. This was Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s first visit to Bahrain and the first meeting between the leaders of Ukraine and Bahrain since 2003.
