The development of a strong and capable Ukrainian army is a precondition of Ukraine's freedom and independence, and the Armed Forces have been and will be the guarantor of the effectiveness of all diplomatic efforts of the state, as stated by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy during a working trip to the Donetsk region.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy signed a decree appointing Natalia Pushkaryova Commissioner for Volunteer Affairs (non-staff).

On the eve of the Normandy format summit, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with representatives of churches and religious organizations of Ukraine.

One of the priority issues to be raised by the Ukrainian party during the negotiations in the Normandy format in Paris is the return of all captives to Ukraine, as stated by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

"Today, I have addressed Mr. Prime Minister with a request for further assistance of Sweden in restoring the infrastructure, especially Donbas infrastructure," the Head of State said following the negotiations with Prime Minister of Sweden Stefan Löfven.

Ukraine is interested in large-scale projects in alternative energy, energy security, agriculture, IT sector, infrastructure and environmental protection, as stated by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy following the negotiations with Prime Minister of Sweden Stefan Löfven.
