The President emphasized that Ukraine defends the interests of the entire Ukrainian people – its citizens of all nationalities and all faiths, from all parts of our large country: from Kyiv to Crimea, from Zakarpattia to the Donetsk region – and will certainly not forget its people in occupation and captivity.

In February, the foreign policy work of President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy focused on strengthening support for Ukraine – primarily in defense and energy – increasing sanctions pressure on Russia, and advancing negotiations to return Ukrainians and achieve a dignified peace.

The Head of State thanked Friedrich Merz, his team, and Germany for their consistent support in protecting the lives of Ukrainians.

The President emphasized that, thanks to cooperation with all Dutch governments throughout this war, relations between our countries have already reached the level of a strategic partnership and trust. The Head of State expressed gratitude for all support packages, especially in defense, and highlighted the Netherlands’ active participation in the Coalition of the Willing.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy has signed a decree implementing the decision of the National Security and Defense Council to impose sanctions on 10 Russian transport and logistics companies that deliver cargo to Ukrainian territories temporarily occupied by Russia.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a phone call with President of the Senate of Cambodia Hun Sen.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy held the first meeting of the International Advisory Group on Investment Attraction and Economic Development of Ukraine. The meeting was moderated by Advisor to the President on Economic Development Chrystia Freeland.

The presidents discussed steps to end the war unleashed by Russia and the importance of reliable security guarantees for Ukraine.

The meeting was attended by MEPs from Austria, Croatia, Czechia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Spain, and Sweden. The Head of State thanked the Members of the European Parliament and their countries for supporting Ukraine during this challenging time.

The President of Ukraine and the President of the United States also discussed the issues that their representatives will address on February 26 in Geneva during the bilateral meeting.
