President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a meeting with the Prime Minister of Norway, Jonas Gahr Støre, in Copenhagen.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with the Prime Minister of Denmark, Mette Frederiksen, in Copenhagen, where the Head of State came to participate in the European Political Community Summit.

Ukraine has completed its internal screening of legislation for compliance with European Union standards. This was announced by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy during his online participation in the European Council meeting.

Key priorities in the President’s domestic and foreign policy included achieving real peace, strengthening Ukraine’s air defense – particularly accelerating the delivery of air defense systems and missiles – expanding drone production funding, advancing security guarantees, increasing pressure on Russia.

The Head of State noted that Ukraine is expanding its tradition of respect and gratitude precisely on Defenders’ Day, on the Feast of the Intercession. According to the President, since the beginning of the full-scale war, the highest title of Hero of Ukraine has been conferred exclusively on warriors. During this time, 722 servicemembers have been honored, including 445 posthumously.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy presented state awards to warriors, handed over battle flags to brigade commanders, as well as the honorary distinction ribbons “For Courage and Bravery” and ribbons bearing honorary names. In the presence of the Head of State, cadets of military lyceums took the Lyceum Cadet Oath.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a meeting with Her Royal Highness The Princess Royal, Princess Anne, who is paying her first visit to Ukraine since the restoration of independence.

On the Day of Defenders of Ukraine, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with wounded warriors and medics helping them recover, and presented them with state awards.

These are Bashtanka, Voznesensk, Huliaipole, Druzhkivka, Kostiantynivka, Kramatorsk, Kupyansk, Marhanets, Nikopol, Orikhiv, Pavlohrad, Pokrovsk, Slovyansk, Starokostiantyniv, Sumy, and Trostianets.
