The parties discussed promising areas of cooperation, including within the framework of the declaration signed on November 17 by the Presidents of Ukraine and France, as well as the possibility of localization in our country.

Principled positions now, in preparing the relevant agreement, are what will ensure the long-term peace after this war. President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated this during the joint press conference with President of France Emmanuel Macron at the Élysée Palace in Paris.

The Head of State emphasized that it is important to make progress on developing security guarantees and a long-term foundation for the resilience of both Ukraine and the whole of Europe. The parties agreed to continue their coordination.

At the Élysée Palace in Paris, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a several-hour meeting with President of France Emmanuel Macron in a tête-à-tête format. The main focus was on negotiations to end the war and on security guarantees.
