President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a phone call with President of France Emmanuel Macron.

The priorities of the new Government of Ukraine are the expansion of domestic weapons production and an increase in internal economic potential, more specific content within the Heroes' Policy, streamlining of social policy, and a new level of defense cooperation with key partners. This was stated by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy during his speech at the plenary session of the Verkhovna Rada.

In Kyiv, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with Prime Minister of Latvia Evika Siliņa to discuss further defense support for Ukrainian warriors and Ukraine’s path to European integration.

On the occasion of the Day of Ukrainian Statehood and the Day of the Baptism of Kyivan Rus – Ukraine, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy honored Ukrainian warriors, including Heroes of Ukraine, with the highest state awards, presented orders to the families of the fallen, handed over battle flags, “For Courage and Bravery” distinctions, and honorific name ribbons to unit commanders, as well as awards to civilian Ukrainians and Ukrainian passports to 14-year-old children.
