During a working trip to the Luhansk region, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy visited the Stanytsia Luhanska checkpoint. The Head of State got himself acquainted with the process of reconstruction of the bridge crossing over the Siverskyi Donets River, where the local residents cross the delimitation line.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy expressed condolences to the family of the deceased commander of the 128th separate mountain assault brigade Yevhen Korosteliov and honored him with the Order of Bohdan Khmelnytsky of the second degree posthumously.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with Minister for Foreign Affairs of Germany Heiko Maas who arrived to Ukraine on a working visit. The Head of State informed the German high-ranking official of the security situation in Donbas  and expressed hope that the meeting in the Normandy format scheduled for December 9 would pave the way to a peaceful settlement of the conflict.

“Under the Czech presidency of the Visegrád Four, we have agreed to intensify interaction between Ukraine and this group. I am convinced that the experience of integration of these countries into the EU will be very useful for us,” Volodymyr Zelenskyy said at a press conference following the negotiations.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy noted that holding a meeting of the leaders of the Normandy Four was a success, since this format had been blocked in 2016.

During the negotiations of President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Prime Minister of the Czech Republic Andrej Babiš, the parties noted a substantial economic component of the visit of the head of the Czech government to Ukraine.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy started a meeting with Prime Minister of the Czech Republic Andrej Babiš who is on an official visit to Ukraine.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with ambassadors of the G7 countries. The interlocutors discussed the course of reforms in Ukraine. “I am ready for dialogue and discussion. We waste no time and do everything we can to really change the country,” the Head of State emphasized.
