It is extremely important that Moscow is beginning to feel the pressure of the world, the pressure from the United States, the threat of tougher sanctions for continuing the war. And one of the key sanctions tracks is indeed Russian oil.

President Zelenskyy provided an update on the situation in Kharkiv and other Ukrainian cities suffering from brutal Russian attacks, as well as on the frontline and the needs of Ukrainian defenders. Special attention during the conversation was given to diplomatic efforts with international partners aimed at further strengthening support for Ukraine.​

The leaders discussed enhancing Ukraine’s air defense capabilities and increasing coordination with partners. Volodymyr Zelenskyy spoke about a new instrument for the procurement of U.S. weapons – PURL – which Ukraine is implementing jointly with NATO member states, and shared its initial results.

The Head of State thanked President Trump for his personal efforts toward a just and lasting peace. Ukraine fully supports the urgent need to stop the killing. This issue was central to the discussion.

The International Coalition for the Return of Ukrainian Children, established within the framework of the President’s initiative Bring Kids Back UA, has called on Russia to return abducted Ukrainian children without delay and without any conditions.

The event was attended by over 500 guests, including representatives of the Japanese government, delegations from countries participating in EXPO, business associations, NGOs, and the diplomatic corps.

During her visit to Japan, the First Lady of Ukraine, together with the team of the Olena Zelenska Foundation, met with representatives of the Japanese government agency JICA and Japanese businesses.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with representatives of Kharkiv’s business sector, volunteer and veterans’ communities, schools, and universities.

The hub hosts lectures, workshops, and training sessions. School students can undergo free preparation for the National Multisubject Test, play board games, and watch films. The space was created to ensure that even during wartime, young people have the opportunity to grow and communicate in person.
