The President stressed that Ukraine fully supported the political-diplomatic way of resolving the conflict in Donbas. This is evidenced by the "re-launch" of the work of Ukrainian representatives in the Trilateral Contact Group, steps towards the intensification of the Normandy format and separation of forces and means in Stanytsia Luhanska. At the same time, Russia does not show goodwill to resolve the conflict.

And in the end, we will force Russia to stop the escalation, establish a permanent ceasefire, ensure the separation of forces and the release of all Ukrainian captives. An effective instrument for that is the continuation of the policy of sanctions," Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.

"Canada is a true friend of Ukraine. It confirmed that with real steps aimed to support our country in the policy of sanctions against the aggression of Russia, as well as in preserving sovereignty and protecting territorial integrity," the Head of State said.
